Just been given a russian cap
I have just been given a russian visor cap, just wondering if its worth hanging on to? im more into ww1 items.
was given to my dad by his russian wifes uncle, he was in artillery i think.
for some reason i cant upload but found a pic on the web, its identical to this one and in perfect condition.

It looks like an artillery officer's cap. probably not WW2 more like 70s or 80s. Please wait for more of an expert's opinion before you make any decisions on it. Thanks

I recommend this site, as it's a great resource on Soviet visor caps, but it seems as though the picture you used came from it. As you can see, it's a very common tank/artillery officer cap from the late cold war.
