So I acquired this helmet today and I want to give special thanks to our forum member Lars (Datrus), for selling it to me! Dont worry Lars, I will take good care of it . The helmet sure is an beauty and great looking, it is my first Soviet war era helmet, with an liner included.

Great helmet, i also have a nice model 39 they are much rarer than German helmets. Yours looks especially nice next to your soviet medal display.

I was so engrossed in admiring your new helmet I forgot to add the coffee to my frothy milk!!!!

Nice lid, I have one as well but not with the star like that. As the others have said Lars is a great guy and this will look great in your display
