    Hi!
I recently got a helmet and a cap in my possession. I could quickly identify the cap as a Czech cold war era cap but I can't seem to find any matches for the helmet. I know really little about military helmets, but to me it looks like an US helmet. It also is pretty large, but I am unsure of the average size. Could you guys help me identify this? I live in The Netherlands, if that can be of any help. Thanks a lot!

From the side. I resized the pics.

    Front-ish

Inside, it has the markings I-72 and two crossed swords with 54

I can get more pictures if needed.

It's probably a Russian or Russian made helmet for the Czechs. hopefully someone here will know.

Thanks for the quick replies! I did some googling with that information and it does indeed appear to be a standard WW2 Russian helmet (M52), used by the Czechs in the cold war period. The cap has the date "1990" in the lining, is it safe to assume that the helmet is from around the same date?

    This helmet is a VZ 53 , 100% Czech manufacturing .
