It is an Ssh-60 as indicated by the rivet placements (4), An Ssh-40 has 6 rivets placed lower.
The 40 also has very slightly straighter sides, but that is a very subtle difference and not as easy to spot. The rivets are, as Spenwil says, the real giveaway.
Nice portrait.
In my opinion, this is SSh-68. Whose uniform is the soldier, please tell me.
This is a photo of an Afghan paratrooper.
How can you tell he is wearing an Ssh-68 instead of an Ssh-60?
By the shape of the Helmet dome. It’s an SSh 68.
