No I checked the liner it is origanly like that and no traces of an other, but light traces of use.

Hi, yes I think so it’s coming from a German veteran who gave me it when I was in Bavaria in 2001.

This model of cap was produced between 1939 and 1954. Blue-top caps were abolished in 1954 and replaced with blue piping, so it's certainly no later than that. If it was made post-1946, it is an MVD rather than an NKVD cap. Obviously there's no way to know for sure.
Date markings were usually stamped on the inside of the cap, where the sweat diamond is on more modern examples. They wore off quite easily, and that's probably what happened here. Even without a definitive date of manufacture, it's a very nice cap. Be proud of it.
