How do you think people can evaluate an item when only one bad pic is provided? And now 3 more crappy pics. And you expect serious replies? I seriously don't get it.
Did you check the name already if he was a general in 1945?
There is a number inside (looks like museum nr), and the name starts from "M" but the rest is crossed out.
Therefor a good pic could help us.
I'm always skeptic about these caps, the plastic interior may mean its a post 45 reparations cap if real.. or a complete fake.
What I noticed immediately is the unworn condition of the liner compared to the used condition on the outside, and yes Spenwil73, the plastic shield on the inside makes me also think of postwar (is it even Soviet? Can't remember to have seen these plastic shields in Soviet caps). МаТСОВ is either some weird compound word or a name scrawled by someone with limited Russian.
It's not МаТСОВ, it could be Матвеев, but last letters are crossed out.
