Soviet Ssh40, I think. I am still a bit of a rookie with these. Looks like a 1953 dated example. 3KO is the red october factory in Stalingrad I think.
Oh thankyou so much. Do you have any idea of its rarity?
I would think not so rare, but it is in really nice condition. Ade S and Datrus are two guys on here that really know their Ssh*t when it comes to these. Sorry I couldn't resist that.
Haha I see wha you did there . So I should ask them do you think?
I imagine they will find the thread sooner or later, they both visit the Soviet section often I think. There are many other guys who will no doubt be able to tell you more also.
Welcome to the forum by the way.
I think Krad's got it. I believe it's a 1953 example of an Ssh-40, made at the Red October factory in Stalingrad.
Thanks KradSpam, .

Also thanks ObKrieger, I appreciate your help
So far it looks OK. The ZKO stamp looks a little different from the ones i have seen on the 52 models, but there are variations of course. It would be good with a close up on the chinstrap. The part i can see looks a little strange. They used 2 kinds of webbing on these and the part i can see does not look like one of them. Correction. $ chinstraps were used...
