A pre-war leather tank helmet. In my opinion a good copy.
The buckles, snaps and stitching seem to me to be of the usual kind that you can also find on early canvas M36 tank helmets.
The blue fabric on the inside also seems fine to me. You can also find these in early M36 tank helmets.
No ink stamp on the tank helmet?
If there was one, I think it would be inside the ear flap on these early models.
I've asked the seller.
For what it is worth, this one looks like mine except mine has gray lining instead of blue.
Thanks both for views. I think it's a good one.
The one think that made me think twice was the lack of side ventilation holes but i well know about the disparities in manufacturing as the war progressed and these disappeared.
