Nice condition and a good large size being a 3 (fits a 60 head). Now getting harder to find.
Dated 1941. LMK is a Leningrad makers mark.
Again, an item I bought from a friend.
Cheers, Ade.

Nice helmet, I think I was offerd that one some years ago and did not have the money, who knows I can be wrong.
Now let me show you all one of my personal favourites, this is a SSch 39 POCT 2 1939 with the fist type of liner in white leather, you don`t see them every day.

Bjorn,
That is the most stunning Ssh-39 helmet I have seen in a long time. You have a very rare thing there, and in top condition. I too have a white leather liner type in good condition, but the star on mine is almost faded away. I have some time later today and I will post mine as well as a few others. Dimas is correct that this is a very early one.
Mike
Thank you for your nice comments, I got this helmet a some time ago and it one of my first and major favourites. I have not seen many with this liner so Mike please show us!!!!
I think it's a hard to find the helmet like that, or the helmet with yellow artificial leather liner ( they are approx the same period, but twice rarely)
You are lucky guys, to have them in your collection!

Dimas and the rest,
Again, I will get some photos up soon. I had hoped to earlier, but I am still getting my life back to normal after my work sent me on a three week "holiday" to southern China !!!!!!
To set the mood, I have the following I'd like to share
Ssh-39 with white, natural leather liner
Ssh-39 with white (yellow?) artificial leather liner
Ssh-39 with black oilcloth (graylex) liner
Ssh-39 with brown oilcloth (graylex) liner
Mike
Ok Michael, we'll wait for the pictures!

Hi again, I am going to show you my finest helmet in my collection, sadly the pictures are not sharp enough but I did not have good light when I took them. Here it is the "rare" one with yellow liner in "Mint" condition, it looks like new.
Enjoy......
/Bjorn
