Thanks James. I think that it unfortunately is repainted. I cant find the stamp, which I guess is supposed to be inside, and I found some paint ''drippings'' (when wet paint is ''rolling'' as a drop). Try to understand my bad english..

Anyways, I'll try to find any date marks from it.

not a problem at all finnlander ,you english is very good to be honest i had a little rethink on this helmet ,the foward mounted liner rivits definately say polish wz 50 ,but the paint colour and star would normally be found on czechoslovakian vz 53's ,so a bit of a head scratcher ,maybe it was for czech army use ,something ive never heard of but you never know ,hopefully more members can comment further ,all the best james
