Ssh68 or ssh40 Kolpak 20

Hi, picked this up today for a great price, I belive its an SSH-68 that has been re-issued, in Ukraine. The seller is an aid giver volunteer, he works for a charity and said he picked this up on his last run. He goes back and told me he could get me more. He showed me photos of him there. An amazing person.
Im hoping someone here could tell me what the writing on the side says. Production date 2023.

Figured it out, apparently its a name, Lukyan/Lucian.

Kolpak-20 is interesting helmet, re-using old ssh-68m steel helmets.
Some of them had additional metal plate added on front or in the forehead. At least one sample had one what I saw Ukrainian war video reviev.

Better than nothing, it still blocks low-caliber pistol or shrapnels. But still, even modern kevlar helmets don't safe user from direct rifle bullet hits.

But also typical "Embezlement model". Converting old 20$ helmet and re-selling it for 400$ for conscripted masses.

Nice display ,i believe the majority are refurbished model 40 helmets although you can get the odd model 68 modernised but the conversion is more crudely carried out on the examples i have seen

Here to share is my example kolpac 20 ,80 or more years in service for the Soviet Ssh 40 is a very good innings and maybe a Guinness world record for a helmet in use perhaps
