R, in my eyes this is a cracking buckle, you do not find many Heer JFS around with a tab on it, very nice and interesting buckle

That's certainly an interesting buckle. I don't think I've seen a JFS with the silver paint on it before. Is that common?

The origin paint of this buckle is partially gone, that´s it.
Maybe there was too much sunshine during shooting my pic´s.
Nice buckle Reibert Isn't the paint just a light field grey being made to look silver by the camera flash?
that explains why I thought it was "silver"...thanks for clearing that up!
