    Default Heer Buckle, Friedrich Turck

    Hello friends,

I received this completely (Eagle and Swastika removed) denazified Heer beltbuckle, maker marked by Friedrich Turck of Lüdenscheid.

It still has its, I guess, original and very flexible tab which is stamped 1938.

It has seen better times, without a doubt, and I understand most collectors wouldn’t add it to their collection but its probably stormy history attracted me enough to buy it.

    Kind regards

Hi Joost - nice buckle even with the denazified front. Not an easy maker to find. And I have always liked the rather unique makers mark. Here are my Luftwaffe buckles by the same maker:

    Thanks Jeff !

I must have written the name wrong I guess. I found links to ‘Turcks’ on the web but here on the forum it is mainly ‘Turch’.

Very nice Luftwaffe buckles in your link by the way, thanks for sharing it

There is a "P C Turck Wwe, Ludenscheid" that also made buckles. I thought I had a Heer by Friedrich Turch, found the link:

In the Heer makers list it is listed as Friedrich Turch, Ludenscheid. Since my buckles do not have the leather tabs I didn't realize the correct spelling. Thanks for the update
