Buckle was prob made by J C Maedicke of Berlin. It would have prob had a leather support tab originally so your buckle was made between 1940 to 1942. Aluminium buckle we ordered not to be used after 1939 and support tabs on buckles ceased after 1942. Another thread for you to read for comparison
