Molded Seiper Heer

Just got this molded aluminum/light metal Heer buckle. The tab is unmarked on the molded Heer Richard Seiper buckles but the tabs on the Seiper Luftwaffe and Police are marked. Seiper also produced SS molded buckles in zinc and a light metal aluminum or combination of materials.

How rare are these types? Any other known branches?

The aluminum SS flat back is the rarest molded Seiper. The zinc SS and the Heer are are also rare. The Luftwaffe and the Police are scarce but I wouldn’t call them rare. I did come across a aluminum flat back at the 22 SOS. It looked original but I couldn’t see any sign of the two circles where the metal enters the mold. The dealer was asking $1900. That probably wouldn’t be a bad price if I was a 100% sure it was real.

Very nice collection. Thanks for posting them. You can see the circles on your buckle. I don’t see how the circles could have been worn off on the buckle at the SOS. A recent WAF thread was about what is rarer a steel 36/44 or the aluminum flat back Seiper. I would prefer to add the aluminum flatback to my collection.
