Default Round Koppelschloss - help with identification please

Shown below are some photos of a Koppelschloss that I have owned since approx..... 1975. It appears to be made of Bronze?
I would really appreciate some help in identifying it. Is it possibly an authentic WW2 Buckle, or a reproduction, or a fake? I don't see any maker marks, etc., and was hoping someone might give me some help on this item.

    Thanks in advance.

I think this is a modern fantasy product.
Same belt hook and belt hoop as on modern belt buckles.

I have never seen one before and that buckle is none of the published buckle books. I would say a post war made buckle. If it was genuine then prob a home cottage industry made buckle post WW1. Again for me a made up buckle post war at some point. But never say never
