    Here is an interesting Adler with as you can see, the flat prongs. The material seems to be pressed aluminum with a black finish over the front. I am not familiar with this design at all. I know flat prong designs like this one existed however I am not sure if I have seen one like this in any period photos. Any information on this one is appreciated! Thanks

    Hello,
    I didn't know this one, but if Ade says so...IMO he's the most experienced here regarding all kind of "old brit made fake" (s)....as i handled many semi-industrial or even industrial french made fakes in the past, i guess it's the same for Ade on his national market...

    Yes, my thought exactly. This did come with some other war relics verified original items from a vet estate. I realize vets after the war would still pick up items here in the US that were not necessarily authentic.

    These were available through catalog sales in the 70s I believe. It was the decade where reproductions and fantasy items really took off. NH
