Hi William, go back to post 4 of this thread. You can see a pic. I fear that I have given the community this slang term. But if it means it sticks in peoples minds this way, and saves them money, perhaps I should not worry...
Cheers, Ade,

Hi all,
I think this one is a fake, can anyone confirm please?
The "O" looks round not oval, the middle of the "R" and the "P" also look a quite similar. Sorry but I dont have any better photos.
Cheers, Mads
100% one look fake.

The "tartan" weave to the rear of the letters is a big no no. Repro for sure.
Tom
Thanks you guys.
Hi guys, just adding another one in this thread.
It's showing the correct details but i was wondering about the "S" and the shape of the second "A" which appears a bit misshaped. Is that ok? Also the middle of the "O" on the reverse is not oval but very rounded like a ball.
It is fine.
Cheers, Ade.

Thanks Ade. Were there 3 models of this CT like the tropical tunics?
There were tan and and a more olive green coloured edges to the titles that is all.
Cheers, Ade.

I recently acquired this piece. After studying this thread I am pretty confident it is genuine because:
- Middle green part of the R and P are different sizes
- The O is more oval than circular
- The A and F do not merge into each other.
- The weave pattern on the back looks correct - not “tartan”
But I am willing to hear second opinions from the more experienced collectors.
Cheers!
