Is this SS cap badge?
Just wondering about one recent find , would you know if item in pictures real or fake ?sorry for upside down pictures system does not allow to rotate

The eagle is not SS (looks more political) and rear-side clearly shows it's a cast fake.

If you open this as a JPG image, use CTRL + R , then save the image again in the directory. Voila. You have turned the image

As nick said, this is definitely not an SS eagle. This version was worn in silver by the SA, HJ and NSFK. Gold colored by political leaders of the NSDAP. But, to me, this is clearly a fake. You can see that not only on the back (cast not embossed), but also on the front, which looks very unclean and cheap.
