    What do you think about this camouflage trousers? In the knee area, it is with additional camouflage material and gummy material strengthened (Gasplane?). How it looks, it was worn over the normal trousers.

    Hello Paul,
    Concerning this kind of fieldmade garments, it is very hard to say if they're period made or not........Postwar, many hunters, fishermen used to have garments like this made from the huge quantities of camo cloth or Zeltbahnen left behind by the german army.
    There's one thing i like on this one, the tailor added a reinforcing piece of cloth at the rear, like on M43s issue pants...
