Cut off Luftwaffe insignia

Hi guys,

I just saw this very nice small (cut off) small item.

I would be extremely interested to know more about the eagle itself and the camouflage pattern smock the eagle was sewn upon.

All help is very welcome and much appreciated.

Probably from a paratrooper jump smock, it’s splinter pattern camouflage.
Nice having the camo material still attached.
