This was leftover from a small collection of WW2 German uniform items



Along with what looks like a hammock, a lanyard and bandages

I hate to state the obvious, but it is a jacket liner. Not too sure if it is WWII or something more modern. I have a Bundeswehr parka liner similar, but with knitted cuffs. Does it have any markings on the inside that you could photograph to get some more opinions?

Buttons look West German, shot in the dark? maybe for one of these??? Big arsed guess hey...!

I'd agree. I've seen this sort of thing sold along side surplus Bundeswehr uniforms in the 1990's.

René the border guard coats take a grey-green fleece liner, my two still have them.
But I agree it looks like a post war liner.
