    It certainly doesn’t look reproduction to me, though I am unsure of the precise pattern.
    Appears to be 1937 dated, so not Reichswehr, but puts me in mind of it…
    I’m sure you’ll get a very precise answer shortly.

    Described as a volksturm modification tunic. Unsure about that.

    Former parade Waffenrock converted late war for issue as a field tunic. Commonly referred to as Volksturm tunics as that seems to have been chiefly who these were issued to.

    Aaah, I can see that now… replaced collar, stripped cuffs, &c.

    I was wondering about the cuff and collar thing. Anyhow I had seen this at auction last year. For some reason it didn't sell. This time around it may have sold. I was abit unsure

    No worries. Enough of these were converted and enough survived to be a "known thing" among hardcore Heer uniform collectors. I have seen examples pop up now and then over the years, some even with a Volksturm cuff band attached.
