A recent addition to my collection.
The condition is nice but it is missing one attachment tab.
I have been looking for one of these for some time now as a friend of my mothers was in a Gebirgsjäger unit.
I have a photo of him and his unit.

The Collector's Guild is caring two similar examples with the same attachment tabs.
They usually vet their items pretty well.
Nice badge, now to find the Ski-Jäger version.

I have one Ralph but not with edge pins ( but of course many late war devices had them so that alone does not make it post war )



Then Ski-jager.... well THAT'S a can of worms.!! Ive got these and I have NO IDEA whether any is genuine???

Yes but I think that's a bodge job too..... a civilian ski on a jager badge maybe?
