    Default Jack Boots Identification Please

I have recently purchased what I believe to be officers Jack Boots from an auction house in Jersey. I have attached plenty of pictures so hopefully, some of you knowledgable lot will be able to shed some light on them for me please.

Inside the front upper there is the same stamp in both boots, it reads 67 on the top line in large white type, then what looks like J.A XIV.L on the next line in pale blue then COLN on the third line in pale blue. They both have 2 pull straps inside, one is black and the other is black with white stripes, internally they are leather throughout but the top halves are dark brown and they change to black leather around the foot. The soles are leather but the heels look to have been reheeled at some point in black rubber.

I look forward to hearing your comments

    Thanks - Andrew

the absence of hob nails suggests that they are not marching boots (Marschstieffel), rather, private purchase or cavalry
