Late war Jager cap badge

Gday All,
Recently picked up this Jager cap badge.
It's of the "side pin" variety which I believe to be of late war manufacture.
Plenty of fakes out there but I am quite certain it's good.

Any opinions would be great.

I do like your early pin badge,It's a ripper mate.

I like the concept of German Jager formations.To me they symbolise a more traditional Infantry in the fact that by late war they were far less mobile,had little armour and more lightly armed than their contemporaries.They had to make do with what they had and grind it out to win the day.Quality soldiers.
