Luftwaffe lapel pin 'Traditions-Mützen- o. Gruppenabzeichen'

This stickpin is purported to be associated with a Luftwaffe Staffel or Gruppe. The stickpin could easily be TR based on the enamel, knurled pin and makers mark of H. Schmidt. but there is no further indication of it's Luftwaffe association. I've looked in the Hüsken Katalog der Abzeichen, and despite 10 pages of staffel and gruppen related pins, I could not find a match. I'm hoping someone may recognize the design and point me in the right direction. Thanks, Al
