    Default Metal Breast Eagles

I was recommended to this forum by a friend of mine after asking his opinion on these breast eagles. I know what the insignia is but am not sure if the four badges are original. Any comments would be much appreciated. The Army eagle measures 95mm x 34mm, the Navy eagle is 95mm x 36mm (marked with M in diamond on the reverse), Luftwaffe eagle is 83mm x 45mm and the Old Comrades is 96mm x36.5mm (reverse marked 1 GES.GESCH.)Metal Breast EaglesMetal Breast EaglesMetal Breast EaglesMetal Breast EaglesMetal Breast EaglesMetal Breast EaglesMetal Breast EaglesMetal Breast EaglesMetal Breast EaglesMetal Breast EaglesMetal Breast EaglesMetal Breast Eagles

Welcome to the forum John, they look ok IMHO.
You might want to post them separately as this avoids confusion.
Best of Luck in all your collecting.

Hi John, welcome to the forum!

    All are original.

As Chris mentioned, always best to post one item per thread.

    Cheers, Ade.

    Hello John,
I agree with Ade, all appear to be originals.
The Kriegsmarine one with the M in a diamond is made by J. C. Maedicke.
My example of the veteran's eagle has a more hollow reverse and is marked 2 Ges. Gesch., could be the same maker with a second type of die.
My examples, except for the veteran's eagle, have been posted here.

Thank you for the information and photos Ralph it is much appreciated. These will all go up for sale as I do not collect them and I have had very few of these summer dress badges through my hands so I really wanted a few second opinions as to them being original or not. Thanks again.
