Need help to these Shoulder Boards

I have just bought these Shoulder Boards, and I have "googled" a bit and found some info on this link (German Army insignia), my question is, what are they, I guess they are:
Shoulder Boards Leutenant-Captain ranks, Black underlay, Engineers ?
There are 2 holes in the left one for insignia.
Can anyone give me a better ID and perhaps a link where I can read more.

Hi John, you are correct: Heer Pioneer Officers boards. Looks like the one on the left has lost the two rank pips, which would have made it for a Hauptmann (Captain)

Again a quick reply :-), thanks a lot. Yes, the one on the left has lost the two rank pips there are only the "holes" left.
