New to the forum--looking for advice on existence of genuine Afrikakorps pennants

I'm relatively new to German militaria collecting. My father brought back a nice German helmet and bayonet from World War II but am now expanding that collection. I've bought a few pennants already but would like a definitive answer on the existence of any genuine Afrikakorps pennants. I've seen a couple of fabric type for sale but was warned by someone with expertise in the field that there was no such thing--only the painted metal type and even they are extremely rare.

Any comments/advice is welcomed.
