Panzer Collar Tab Skulls Original or Repro?

Looking for opinions on this set of Panzer skulls. Real or reproduction? If real, what period in the war? Thanks.

Yes, I've seen these for sale. they are a nice set of early tombak panzer skulls. They are my favorite type, crisp die-struck badges like their larger Danziger cousins. Yours have no finish left but they are still very nice. Here are mine for comparison.

Thanks Aldo. Wow! Your pair looks amazing! Am I correct in thinking that these are early war being that they are soldered prongs?

Yes, I think it has to do with the soldered prongs and the type of metal tombak or brass. I have a set just like yours as well, devoid of finish.




I'm no expert on these but I arranged most of mine from left to right to illustrate early - mid - late war. You can see the differences on the front but mostly by the attachments. Those bendable prongs far right, being the late war variants



I can't find the corresponding picture of the reverse badges in order but here you can see the variety of attachment ptongs
