Panzer officer
Hello everyone, long time no post. Got busy and caught up with college/family/work so I haven't had the time to post in a while. Anyways, here's my newest pick up.
Tailor made tunic and overseas cap to a panzer captain . Beautiful french-made tunic in almost perfect condition, and paired with one of the most stunning Private-purchase overseas caps I've ever seen. Very glad to add this one to my collection. What a cracking looking ensemble! Excuse my ignorance but what are the two little extra buttons down the front for I see they have tailored in blind button holes to recieve them. Very nice indeed imo regards Paul
Thank you Paul, I believe they were used to make a better fit/look sharper for when he was in parade or on a special occasion
Just bumping this back up, am I right in saying it's likely French-made? I assume it is based on the fabric/some of the details but I don't want to go around repeating something that isn't true.
I'm not sure but is the cloth Italian?
I don't know about that, how can you tell?

Can you see any of the underside of the material as this may be the clue?
