    I can't comment on the authenticity of the tunic but if original and is purchased, your friend will need an Imperial EK1 and Third Reich Spange, a Panzerkampfabzeichen and Verwundetenabzeichen and a ribbon bar with an Imperial EK2 ribbon and perhaps long service medal ribbons going by the award loops.

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
