Question about third pattern Turkestan sleeve shields
Hello!
in the many historical pictures I have seen of turkestan legion soldiers, I always notice how they are wearing the first pattern sleeve shield quoting ¨biz alla bilen¨. I tried to deeply search for historical pictures of soldiers wearing the third pattern version which says ¨Tenri biz menen!¨with the cescent moons (I will post reference pictures), but it was a pointless search, could someone maybe help me to find some historical picture of it? or at least, enlighten me on how much this shield was really used?
