Hi all,
this cap has this RB number 0/0629/0003
Unfortunately, only the District code can be determined so far. Does anyone have complete information about the manufacturer?
Best regards,
Sergey
In regard to Sergey’s flight trousers (posts 187 & 189), I too have a (slightly) non-standard number label in my tan fliegerhose, and I am in full agreement with Sergy that his example has a legitimate label.
In this case, made by Helmut Schultz, Berlin, there is no mention of R.B. and the word ‘number’ is abbreviated to ‘No.’ (double underlined). Again, this label has been fitted during the original manufacturing process.
These tan versions of the two-piece flight suits were some of the first made, using up the fabric originally intended for the one-piece flight overalls.
I wonder, therefore, if these non-standard labels may be indicative of early production items, with some companies not fully understanding, or yet complying to, the intended standard.

Anyone found on number ending in 0002?
Hello gentlemen,
The only reference that I found made up of the numbers that I could read on your strap: 0/--85/0002 is the RbNr code. 0/0485/0002
Franz Brehme, Walsrode (Hannover)
Schmersahlstrasse, 2
Leder und Militäreffekten; Herstellung von Leder und Ausrüstunstücker für den Mann. (Ref. BArch, R 3/2008)
(Leather and military effects ; Manufacture of leather and equipment for the man).
Best regards from Alsace , France.
Carfin.
This just in…
Army rucksack with web fittings (interestingly, cut down tropical Y-straps permanently fixed).
To me, the Rb.Nr. appears to be 0/0676/0038 - which would be Jean Weipert (bag maker), Offenbach Main.
Unless you read this differently, of course.
Rob.

My Jäger (Oberjäger) Sommer/Tropenfeldbluse 43 has this strange serial number stamped behind the button placket which, although not of the correct and typical format, does ‘work’ as an Rb.Nr.
Partially obscured by the button ring hole, the number reads, 0362/0108.
Upon searching the database, this points directly to one, very plausible maker;
Friedrich Wolf & Co.,
Damen- u. Kinderbekleidung-Fabrikation,
Rahnisstraße 19,
Plauen (Sachsen).

Love your Luftwaffe Bergmütze Sergey...
Here is another Luftwaffe Bergmütze that I have in my collection, and I am struggling to make out the
RB Number, which is 0/2009/000? It looks like possibly a '3' at the end, but if it is a '4' that would make
it an item that was produced by 'ALMI'...
As always, your thoughts and experience greatly appreciated.
Best wishes
Bob
Looks like it might be an 8, to me Bob…
I’m sure you’ve tried that.
Just checked it. No luck, beyond a Diekirch, Luxembourg maker.
Thanks mate, yeah hard to make it out, could be an 8, and also could be a 3....
