For Review : Heer 1936 Oberstleutnant Generalstab or veterinary Officer's Tunic with krimshild

Dear Collectors


As my little quest for a nice tunic continue, here is one for review :

It look like a M36 Tunic, with 5 row buttons
Rank is Oberstleutnant
Possible Deutche Kreuz or Spain cross

And here is where it start to complicate :
- Collar rank is for veterinary officers, but the shoulder boards are for Generalstab units.



Here is some intel from the seller :
- Purchased on "Helmut Weitze" in the last 5 years.
- sewed up collars tabs (they aren't original to the tunic).

I am lack of experience, cannot judge it. Intuitively, I am not comfortable with the stitching of the breast eagle. Would like to hear expert’s opinions.

For me it's a totally resewn tunic and pimped up with medal loops to give it a wow factor. Krimshield is also fake.

I compare with other one sold on the web like this one Uniforms: WH (Heer) Artillery Officer's Tunic ,The medal on the side i find strange.... but hey, that somebody ( owner of later ) can have put on.... easy to take off no ? . the rest that is not original ( tabs ) you can maybe easier find later on then a tunic which is complete already ? But as said above , i am also not an expert, so curious to hear what they have to say ;-)

Thanks for the advise, i will go off about this one.

The tunic was on sale for 1300 dollars.


I will continue my research, but on better websites !
