Sizes - Greatcoat / Mantel Shoulder Broads

Need a set of shoulder broads for a mannschaft's greatcoat / mantel that I have. The greatcoat shoulder broads are longer than tunic jacket ones, about 120 cm against 10,5 cm - the question is are they broader or do they stay same width as the jacket tunic ones 4,5 cm? Any information welcome.
