Just wondering about the helmet being worn by the man being attacked by the dog. Are they training him to attack British and Canadian soldiers? National Socialist Germany began rebuilding its trained wardog program under the guise of police-dog training. When World War II began, Germany was estimated to have more than 200,000 dogs trained and ready for military work, the majority of which were German shepherds.

Forgive my ignorance as I am still new to the world of WW2 uniforms. This style of helmet was not worn by the Germans was it? Or was it only worn by the English and British Commonwealth Countries.

The helmet he's wearing is either a Canadian or British helmet, Germans wore m35's, m40's, m42's, m38's etc.
