Default Wehrmacht Gebirsjäger/ Ostfront Schneetarnhose RBNr. 0/872-0 1943

    Hi there,

I have a offer for a Schneetarnhose of the Wehrmacht. I think the pants were use by the Gebirgsjäger and in the Ostfront. The RBNr. dont seems legit to me. Ive tried to figure out, what the numbers are saying, but I cant find any similar number sequence.

Maybe some of you have seen a similar Schneetarnhose before and can proof that they are legit?

If yes, are they relativly rare?

    Thank you for your help!

    David

You can compare the RB No. with the ones posted in this thread.
    The Reichsbetriebsnummer RB numbering system.

    Hey Ralph,

    thank you for the info.

Yes I have already tried that. Because of this thread I am now registered in this forum.

The problem is that the sequence of numbers or the number layout is different.

I will post the RBnr. in the RB thread.

Other point: What you guys think, can the pants be real from what you can see on the pictures?

Thanks again to all of you!

    Best regards

    David

With the numbers stamped on these, and with it ending in the date of 1943, I would say that there is very little chance of these being original.
Possibly something made from old parachute silk to fool the unwary.
