    Hi Gents,

Here the second Early slant SMF with aluminum crossguard, pommel and scabbard bands with small aluminum rings. The scabbard bands are slimmer than my other SMF with the large aluminium rings.

You never know which frontstep they bounch from to start with

    Lovely Textbook SMF slant Ron!
Whats striking is the variaty of parts SMF used, these scabbardbands and scabbardrings vary a lot in size.
SMF used a lot of different materials during their short army production period, from silvered brass, Iron, Aluminium to Zink potmetal.
A great addition to your collection Ron!

@Larry it's about a 2 hrs drive frontstep probably you know who that is...

    @ MAP thanks!

@ Ger it was great to discover the difference in scabbard bands and rings of both SMF's. Sure it's a great addition of my expanding Heer collection
