Thank God for models who dont figit and complain when their hungry..the perfect model is the one that sits still...looks good Ger..everything is moving along well and looking forward to the outcome. Regards Larry
There's also something sexy about a model that could kill you if you handle them wrong...

Nice work!!! But with the equipment you have for taking photographs I don't think anyone will be able to provide you with equal quality photos of their dagger...
Will you place an ad for ordering the book in this forum?

We will promote our book here as well as on our own website ( i have registered 2 domains, 1x English, 1x German)
In time we will post it here...
We are well aware that we have very good pics, and we hope that our efforts will trigger the "Photographer" part of the Collectors that are helping us out with pics of their own daggers.

IMO I feel the Edged Collectable is the hardest to photograph. There is nothing subtle or soft in appearance regarding the reflective materials used in producing these Solingen beauties. The Real battle is finding the right amount of light without the shine which reflects into the lense giving the camera a different reading.

Darkend or cloth artifacts are more easier ( IMO ) to photograph...minus the reflection. Looking forward Gerrit to the Reference that you are working very hard on. Your book along with the Solingen Heer types..will provide as you say..some ideas and tips in enhancing the collectors hobby as a point of reference for their own library. Well done Regards Larry
