I won this part on eBay today, I thought it would look good with my Wehrmacht collection. I did not buy it to put it in a dagger, I just thought it would be a cool piece to own. I know, you guys probably think I buy the weirdest stuff![]()

It is one of the coolest parts of the dagger, it is a shame that it is denazified
Unfortunate it's denazified..but you wouldn't find it in eBay if it wasn't. I often wonder if some deliberately destroy items so they can put them on eBay.

Cool Item, it still tells a story being denazified, and thats a good thought dean, cutting it off to sell on ebay, I am sure it has happened before.
Not weird at all just as long as you feel it is significant enough for your collection and since it is a denazified eagle it is till representative of that period..it should fit well with what you collect. Most importantly that you did not spend alot or it.![]()
It is not the size of a Collection in History that matters......Its the size of your Passion for it!!- Larry C

I thought I got a good deal it was about 15 dollars and its only a few states over so it should get to my house in a week or so!
Lol - someone has 're-nazified' a dagger and sold
this one off, I'll bet.........

Steve.
I like it!
Why do they denazify items like that? Do they suffer from some kind of paranoia when it comes to items used by one of the greatest armies on earth, namely the german army of ww2? Are communist items also de-communized??? I guess not. Why?????
