Article about: Hi all here's one I picked up recently, i. Not an expert but it a appears to be a near mint 3rd type holler with generic scabbard. Am I correct? All opinions welcome.

    Looks nice, my eyes might be tricking me but the grip looks almost to good. Is it a solid plastic or plaster/ wood filled?

    Hi it looks soild I didn't see any wood fill. Also tang has a stamp a cross inside a square

    Höller used 2 different scabbards on their type 3, one of them has generic scabbardbands (different as yours)
    I havent seen a Höller type 3 with this type so far.

    I wouldn't trust a solid white plastic grip. Trolon, the 'plastic' used by the TR changed colour over time. Grips that stayed white are either ivory (which that isn't), celluloid (which is a hollow shell filled with plaster or wood) or galaith (which is a calcium based product and I believe will have a grain of some kind).

    Other wise, I would guess a post war replacement.

    look at a late Wingen

    What are you saying?
    Do you say because they are on a LST Asso they also fit on a Höller?
    Generic A & B mix well ?
