Identification help needed, please.

hello everyone, i am new but in need of assistance. My grandfather passed 13 years ago and my father last year. i have now inherited my grandfather WWII souvenirs, all things that he brought back with him. I am having some trouble identifying a dagger i found in his belongings as well as a belt buckle and some medals. I am curious to identify these things and also curious as to the monetary worth. i would never sell any of this as it represents my gpa's sacrifice and hard work in serving this country. i do however need to know their worth to ensure im not displaying something of great value in my home without the neccessary knowledge or insurance. Any help would be greatly appreciated. here are some pictures.

its a german heer dagger and a heer buckle

Hi nice dagger and buckle. the dagger is a ww2 german army officers dagger the buckle is a ww2 german army enlisted man's buckle. i thought non collector terms might help.

Value would be about $600 for the dagger and $100 on the buckle.
