Need help authenticating German Ceremonial Dagger

Gents,

I just won this Army Ceremonial Dagger at an auction with buyer protection. After reading some articles I'm worried from the swirl pattern on the scabbard and the tip of it this could be a reproduction. Can you please help me id this since it has no markings? The seller has stated its an original both in email and on the listing.

I'll make sure to post photos. Just realized the links were an issue. No, if you misrepresent an item on Gunbroker it's an issue. The seller is a ww2 specialist and has stated it was an original. But I should have asked before instead of just assuming.
