Nothing I've seen before. Fantasy would be my immediate opinion.

The crossguard appears to be a WKC 4th pattern. I don't think Eickhorn used that did they???

The first model resembled exactly that of a Heer dagger with a Black grip.

The sheath is what immediately caught my eye. To me, in my opinion, it's a conglomerate of parts...

Sorry for the late reply. The dagger in question is a parts piece. Although the maker mark of Eickhorn is correct as the only known producer of this model, the crossguard is a Generic A type and not one that would have been on this dagger.

Discussed at length both here and on other forums, while I've been told that the so-called 1st Model used to be called the Army Engineer's Dagger, the first known in print book with it as a 1st Model Railway was from the late James Atwood. With besides false facts and information, Atwood injecting into his book items like the fantasy "SA Birdshead Daggers." The bottom line here being that the dagger as Billy and others have stated is a parts piece. Best Regards, Fred
