This walked in a couple of days ago and I am fairly certain that it is no good. Before I contact the owner and tell him though I would like some corroboration from those more learned then I!
Many thanks for the help!

It seems ok to me.
The portipee or knot is perhaps unissued and added later, as is the hanger
because they don't show as much wear as the dagger.
Also, the cord just above the acorn near the crossguard does not appear
to be looped correctly, and should hang "down".
Could just be my poor eyesight!...........
Regards,
Steve.
Hi Gary, it looks fine to me. I like it. Nice maker mark and billet clamp seam to the tang. The crossguard is a 1st pattern Horster model. These are very distinctive what with the circular boss which the swastika is superimposed upon. Puma are not a big maker of Heer daggers and finding a crossguard from another maker is not unknown due to the out scourcing of parts.
The knot and hangers have been added as Steve has already remarked.
Cheers, Ade.
Hello Gentlemen,
Many thanks for the responses. I was concerned about the mismatch to quite honest. I was thinking that the blade was fake with real parts assembled on it so I am glad you both give it the thumbs up!
Cheers
Gary
I like it Garyexcept for the thumb print on the maker mark
