Just got this Australian 1941 MkII with C for Contamination on it,however after a close look at it,there is a earlier R for Rescue under the C.

Luckily the Contamination never got to see action, but I think the Rescue did unfortunately.
I dont know why i thought it was Contamination (doest really make sense)
I think C for Casualty is more likely.As in the treatment of Casualties after Rescue.![]()
Up here DC is for decontamination after a gas attack, & CS for casualty Service.
