Initial impression is good. Is there any more info regarding the circumstances of the find etc?

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing he cares more about than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature with no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."
Looks good. Super find (provided it is original)
The only info I have was where it came from originaly, then was in a private collection still in Italy until I purchased it. It’s a nice untouched helmet.
1940 dated liner. Textured grey/green paint, which in his book, Danielle Piselli states dates from 1941-42. Named on rim. Sadly, the previous owner had "taken it apart for cleaning" but I think I've managed to put it all back together as it was, using detective work on the shadowing and rust patches. Good colour to the net still.
Nice selection of nets! I much prefer nets with signs of use ,
Thank you! Not quite up to the standard of your collection yet though
I have a couple more to share, that I will post soon.
If it's two tone, I'd say Canadian, if not British.
Most likely ww2.
