    Had a look, no luck , the helmet also has the Ro&Co manufactures mark stamped into the brim.

    It might be a Dutch stamp, but I can't find anything to back that theory up. Do you have photos of the whole helmet.

    WW2 helmet, refurbished post war, liners are normally dated late 40's to mid 50's .

    Great help, found another example with a similar mark on the internet, Apparently the 54 on the stamp In the picture below indicates the year it was refurbished, any idea who they were reissued to?

    So is that "55" in the stamp of the OP's helmet indicate the year of refurb??
